The island of Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017. We partnered with Group Missions International to help families put their lives back together again. During this trip we distributed water, food, supplies and lots of hugs to the elderly, families with children, the homeless, the disabled and those living in hard-to-reach areas of Cayey, Caguas, and Cidra, Puerto Rico.
March 19-24, 2018, we will return to Puerto Rico to serve those in need of our hands and feet. It's hard to believe, but 30% (nearly 1 million out of 3.3 million) of the people living on the U.S. island of Puerto Rico are still without power five months after Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the territory. Families are in desperate need of our help. Love in Action Travel is partnering withAll Hands and Hearts again for a disaster relief trip to Barranquitas, Puerto Rico March 19-24, 2018 to assist with recovery efforts.
We will do disaster relief work so you will get dirty and do lots of manual labor like helping gut homes, remove debris and maybe even some construction. No experience is required. Our living arrangements will be co-ed rooms with bunk beds, so you will need to bring your own sheets.
